1957 Citroën 2CV Fourgonnette

In 1954 Citroën launched the 2CV AZU with a 425cm3, twin-cylinder boxer engine from the contemporary 2CV AZ.

Its 12 hp allowed it to carry 250 kg of payload. In 1963 the power increased to 21hp.

The 2CV is the first van with front-wheel drive. It is not intended for customers wishing to carry heavy loads but it will seduce craftsmen and administrations.

Practical in use, the 2CV van is particularly economical.
