Muskegon Bike Time 2014 Classic Motorcycle Show
During Muskegon Bike Time, July 17 to 20, the Muskegon Heritage Museum will display antique bikes inside and outside its building on W. Western Avenue for the second straight year.
“We’re looking for 1970s or older. We’d really like to see ’20s and ’30s, and we had them here last year,” said Adam Winters, the museum’s chief engineer and board vice president. “Last year was a huge success and we raised some pretty good money to support the museum, so this year, we’re looking to top it.”
He said he will arrange bikes – up to 20 – in three spots outside the museum. Some of the bikes can be stored overnight inside the museum.
Anyone bringing a bike to display will also get free photos taken by the museum’s photographer, and there’s a plan for a small party to recognize the efforts of the bike owners to bring their classic machines.
If you’d like to display your classic bike during the show, you can contact Winters via email at steamedup2@gmail.com or by phone at 231-769-5243 for more information.
