Harley-Davidson’s insurance arm extended an existing partnership with AMA Pro Racing which will retain Harley-Davidson Insurance as the Official Insurance of AMA Pro Flat Track and title sponsor of the AMA Pro Flat Track Harley-Davidson Insurance Grand National Championship presented by Motorcycle-Superstore.com and the premier AMA Pro Harley-Davidson Insurance Expert division.

Wow, that’s a long name…

The sponsorship agreement calls for H-D to offer up $100,000 in rider bonus awards again this season.

“Harley-Davidson Insurance has been an exceptional partner and we are proud to have such a strong association with one of the most admired names in motorcycling,” said David Atlas of AMA Pro Racing. “The Harley-Davidson Insurance Bonus Awards ensure that the AMA Pro Flat Track grids will continue to be filled with some of the finest motorcycle-racing talent on the planet.”

With the debut of the series back in 1954, Harley-Davidson riders took 13 out of the year’s 18 races.

The re-upped deal will provide space in the race events paddock and special incentives for H.O.G. members and authorized Harley dealers.

“The AMA Pro Flat Track Grand National Championship has been a staple in the motorcycle community for more than 50 years, so this partnership is a great fit for us,” said Eduardo Bravo of Harley-Davidson Financial Services. “We’re looking forward to another great year of racing with the fantastic fans and riders who represent the sport so well.”

So how do the riders get their hands on the H-D Bonus cash?

All the expert-level riders must display a Harley-Davidson Insurance patch their riding gear and the official AMA Pro Flat Track Harley-Davidson Insurance series sponsorship logo on their front number plate during all Expert Singles and Twins events. Additional information about the $100,000 Harley-Davidson Insurance Bonus Awards will be released in the coming months.
