Mayahuel

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.5 oz Herradura Reposado Tequila
  • .5 oz Domaine de Canton
  • .75 oz Fresh orange juice
  • .5 oz Fresh lime juice
  • .75 oz Agave syrup (one part agave nectar, one part water)
  • 6 to 8 Mint leaves
  • 1 dash Angostura Orange Bitters

Garnish: Mint sprig

Glass: Wine

PREPARATION:

Add all the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a wine glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig.

This cocktail was a Judges Choice Winner at the 2010 Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America Convention.
